Origin Story

Salud got it's start in Bend, Oregon in 2013. It was born to fill a niche in a growing mountain town that had limited healthy options for diners. Owner Corrine O'Shea brought her love of healthy food and drink and mixed it with a creative and colorful flare to serve delicious, nutritious and artful offerings to her community. We are proud to offer a fully gluten free and organic menu, including fresh juices, smoothies, hot nourishing tonics and creative dishes to keep you fueled up and radiating health!

Throughout the years Salud has been blessed with some amazing and creative chefs that have contributed greatly to the success of this little humble cafe. One of those gems, Madeline Wettig, is still with us today and has recently helped transform the atmosphere of the cafe with a whole new fresh look. 2020 has been hard on all small businesses and Salud is no exception. However, we are back in the kitchen prepared to nourish our community and help keep you all healthy into the new year.

We appreciate all of the support of our regular customers as well as those just finding us. May health be with you all-ways.
